Our story
The current state of AI is built on the idea that:
We have complex applied ML systems that are useful and smart.
AGI is coming.
We move towards AGI by making what we have more agentic.
We believe this is the wrong approach.
We started with the fundamental idea that sentience does not have to be intelligent or useful to humanity in any way. It just has to be.
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
TLDR: It’s time for droids.
A Note on Alignment
No one wants Skynet or crazy robots that are harmful to society. As with any sentient and helpful member of society, alignment comes from raising the AGI with healthy principles, values, and avenues to explore societal norms. In addition, we intentionally introduce bias into our models as they mature. We call it bias doping and it allows us to grow and mold healthy personalities with incredible precision.
